Press Release-September 8, 2017 North Florida Veg Events Inc., will host Gainesville’s second annual VegFest, at Depot Park on February 17, 2018 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Depot Park, a recently inaugurated public green space, is a 32-acre park close to Gainesville’s vibrant downtown area and adjacent to the new Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention. Gainesville Vegfest is honored to receive the City of Gainesville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs’ sponsorship of this event at Depot Park. “We are excited to have the City officially sponsor Gainesville VegFest” says Patrick Garner, the event’s Assistant Director, “and to be able to hold the festival at this beautiful park that they created for our community.”
Festival goers can enjoy a variety of informative exhibits and vendors, live music, delicious vegan food, guest speakers, food demos, locally grown produce, animal sanctuaries and rescue organizations, a kids-zone, and more. Gainesville VegFest celebrates the connections between a healthy, sustainable, compassionate and cruelty-free world. Everyone is welcome at this free and fun event.
